Plot: The Alphabet Killer is based on the double initial killings inRochester, New York in the early 1970s. Eliza Dusku stars as MeganPaige, a police officer who is highly committed to the job. Shedevelops schizophrenia, lasting for more than six months, and includesone month of active symptoms such as illusions, hallucinations,disorganized speech, and grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior.Megan's obsession leads her to a breakdown and a violent episode whichlands her in the hospital. She eventually loses her fiance, Kenneth(Cary), and her job. Two years later Megan is back working as anadvisor, but her more or less normal life goes to hell again whenanother murder is called in. Her fire rekindled, Megan sets out to findthe killer, and this time she plans to get the job done, with orwithout the department's assistance.
